Origin
Resilience Institute Warsaw was founded in September 2023 by Paweł Pietruszewski, after more than three decades in international management and organisational transformation

We connect academic rigour with organisational experience, using questions from practice to inform research and making research accessible beyond academia.
Our Perspective
We live in a world that is becoming more connected, but also more constrained.
Technology, geopolitics, demographic change, resource pressures and environmental limits increasingly shape how organisations operate.
We call this the shrinking world.
Our work explores what resilience means in this context and how organisations can remain viable and develop under changing conditions.
Meet The Team
Founder | Researcher | Educator
Paweł Pietruszewski
Paweł Pietruszewski, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at Kozminski University in Warsaw and founder of the Resilience Institute Warsaw. He teaches entrepreneurship, international management and organisational resilience. Before moving into academia, he spent over 30 years in international management, finance and organisational transformation, including consulting, advisory and senior management roles across global organisations. His research focuses on organisational resilience, particularly in international environments, connecting academic inquiry with long practical experience of organisational change.

Ania Roguska
